Importance of Hideouts
Hideouts, hideouts, hideouts.
Some misinformation, that having a +1 or +2 hideout is going to help you. This is only assuming that you have a level 22 or higher Town Hall. If you are assuming your hideout will protect you because it is level 17 to your level 16 TH, then prepare to be pillaged.
Everyone please get your hideouts up as high as 22 at least, even for your lesser level towns. A level 30 hideout will practically ensure you have very few or no problems ever again.
Screw the Town walls, they are easily overcome by the simple use of spies and wall bashing units, I have easily breached level 24 walls using only 8-10 spies and 10 - 16 Rams and Cat's, but a high level hideout cannot be defeated, it cannot be breached.
If you have a military score of 5- 6,000, and a hideout that keeps out nosy neighbors, they have no way of knowing whether your military is all kicking back on that one island, or spread out amongst your empire, also, if they can't see in your warehouse, they will most likely move on to one of your unfortunate neighbors.
Come on people, let's get those hideouts built up high. You can spend the expense now and sit back and relax, or you can give it away to your neighbors and sit and wish you had used it yourself.

Yes, keep all your hideouts fully staffed, & make sure your spies are back in town when your offline
